Mark Nobilo runs Daystar, we called him
after a downpour of a leak came through our bedroom closet
in 2008's first Fall rain. He was a referral from contractor
we knew. This guy is great, the real thing, genuine. He
diagnosed our problem after analyzing the possibilities
and immediately repaired the job at a reasonable price.
We felt that he really knows his business and has a nice
trusting manner.
(from Yelp user in San Francisco)
Mark Nobilo of Daystar Roofing has just re-roofed our
house here in San Ramon and I'm writing this letter
to recommend him highly. Everything this guy does speaks
of integrity, professionalism, and great work ethic.
I couldn't be happier with the job.
I'd like to point out a few things that
separate him from others:
-
When I called him, he answered his
phone (hard to believe, in this day and age).
-
Notice on his card, that his full
name, ADDRESS (not PO Box), are out there for you
to see. Not so with most others.
-
He doesn't require a deposit. It's
a small thing but it suggests trust – a quality
I always appreciate.
-
His was the ONLY estimate which
included plywood sheathing. All others proposed
OSB board.
-
He is licensed and insured – not
too important unless there's an accident. Then,
it's important.
-
Mark was ON THE ROOF, working as
an installer. Sounds unimportant, but allows him
to keep an eye on things and reduce payroll costs.
-
He suggested shingles from a manufacturer
who offers a registered Full LABOR & MATERIAL
warranty. No one else offered this.
-
His price was the most competitive
of the four estimates I got. This may or may not
be true in your case. I contacted four roofers of
known reputation for good work.
I don't know what more you could ask for
in getting your house re-roofed.
